Check subreddit stats

Enter a community name, such as SaaS or r/SaaS. Member counts come from archived records and may not reflect current totals.

Type or paste a community name — r/ and /r/ prefixes are handled automatically.

Try:

How it works

  1. 1

    Enter the subreddit name

Type the community name with or without the r/ prefix. Each lookup covers one subreddit.

  2. 2

    Review the community details

See the member count, creation date, and public description. Check the date shown with the record to understand how old the information is.

  3. 3

    Explore the community

Visit the subreddit to read recent discussions and rules. Member count alone does not tell you whether a community is active or relevant to your research.

Frequently asked questions

How do I look up subreddit stats?

Enter a community name, with or without the r/ prefix, and run the lookup. You can review its member count, creation date, and public description. Counts come from archived records and may not reflect current totals.

Is the subreddit member count live?

No. The member count comes from an archived record and reflects its archival date. These subreddit statistics do not include a live activity count or a historical growth chart.

How old is the member count?

Check the date shown with the record. It tells you when the community information was recorded. Looking up a subreddit today does not mean its member count was updated today.

Does a bigger subreddit mean a better audience?

Not necessarily. Subscriber count is one signal. Read recent discussions and community rules to judge whether a subreddit is relevant to your research; an archived count cannot answer that question on its own.
