Research approach

IntentLoom's published research separates signals worth reviewing from confirmed buying decisions. The buyer-intent study covers 1,705 persisted post and comment records from one IntentLoom project, covering Reddit items created from July 24 through August 24, 2026. Intent stages and qualification signals were generated by a model.

This is a selected corpus, not a representative sample of Reddit: below-threshold items were excluded, a discussion could contribute multiple records, and no conversion outcome was established. The study methodology and limits explain the source, classification and boundaries behind the findings.
